Can't any one of your damn little Scooby club at least try to remember that I hate you all?

Spike ,'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hil, Feel better. I hope you can get some sleep tonight. I too am whimpering on the couch, but I slept a bit first.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

No massage appointments til Tuesday, but I've booked one. Go me, for doing something (eventually) rather than just chattering about it.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I've not actually been there myself. I am not a fan of hummus

I'm gonna risk my nationality here and say that even though I can appreciate good hummus (Abu Gosh! Abu Gosh! Abu Gosh!), I agree with that. Hummus isn't food, for me. It's a snack, or a side dish, and rarely within reach.

pain sucks

Unless you're a masochist, or just find it arousing.

(I'm not helping, I know. Hil, anything new you can try with the pains? Any new med? Kill-With-Mere-Thought?)

Good luck with the dog, Barb.

And of course, Yay Burrell And No Cancer! Woot!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronklies. I got a bit of sleep, woke up a few times. Feeling a bit better today.

Pets Hil

Hope today and tonight will be a lot better for you, and pain-free.

Am looking for the BBC's radio play of H2G2, but the link that was given to me doesn't work anymore. I have it on a soon-to-fall-into-pieces-cassette, but a friend wanted to download it too.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Hello, hello, hello! I am just excited to be on here! How IS everyone?! I feel like I've been away forever. I miss y'all.

To sum: I am sitting in solitary splendor in (ahem) my boyfriend's house. I am dogsitting whilst he visits family this weekend. And, Jesus God, he's got a computer that works. I may not leave the chair for three damned days, I am so excited. He also has a DVR, a coffeepot, and lets me smoke in the house. And use his washing machine. I would vastly prefer him to actually BE here, but this ain't bad.

Let's see -- recap on my last two months -- I survived surgery, went back to work. Work is going well. Surgery changed my life, no fucking doubt about that. I feel better than I have in years. Have lost about 15 pounds. Acquired a boyfriend -- he's geektastic. Y'all would love. He's a total Buffista. We watch Dollhouse together.

We're going to Chicago next weekend to meet HIS internet friends. (Sounds familiar, anyone?!) Life is a repeato cabaret, my friends. Life is a frickin' cabaret.

“Not dead yet!”

Okay, pet mystery solved. Took him to the local vet this morning and luckily, he was chipped.

Hambone(and yes, that's his real name-- I would have run away too) is at this moment, being reunited with his owner.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It's nice to see you, Erin, esp seeing you so happy.
