Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

'Time Bomb'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I know at least one person who feels its his civic duty to leave his wifi unsecured.

I did that for a very long time (with all of our actual content protected, of course) -- but my sense of civic duty ultimately crumbled before the annoyance of getting constantly bumped off my own network.

(To be clear, I wasn't thinking of open wifi as trap, but as dorky cybersocialist idealism.)

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My computer is named Titans Tower and my external hard drive is the Batcave. Lo, I am a dork.

Which!!! Plei and amych, I'm pretty sure you haven't read DC comics in a while, but!!! (I'll spoiler-font for anyone who cares.) Nightwing??? Is now Batman. Which I expected. And!!! Both Bart and Conner are back!!! Woot!!!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I leave my Wifi unsecured because I'm lazy and live on the top floor of my building. I figure if someone really wants to scale the walls and steal Wifi from the roof, they probably deserve it. (Inside the building, everyone has their own network, and if someone's internet goes out and they want to mooch off me I'm find with that.)

Trust my rage

My brother does not protect his wifi. He says that way no one can know for sure who downloaded what.

(and we all know I was kidding with the damn you, right?)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That is pretty awesome Nightwing news, Steph!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My wifi is protected, but my upstairs neighbor has the password. And I have the password to her wifi. I have a cable hook-up and she has dsl, and there've been a number of times when one or the other has gone out, but not both.

It's pretty cool, although there's still a lot of wack shit going on.

That is pretty awesome Nightwing news, Steph!

I figured that's what would happen, but they had to drag it out and make it all dramatic and make Jason (more) insane and then try to make it look like he died (again), which no one believes.

move out and draw fire

Yay Kalliope! I know a 6 month old Kalliope whose father is Greek and it's pronounced the Greek way, Kall-ee-OH-pee, and she's called Popi (POPE-ee). But I think Kall-EYE-oh-pee is beautiful too.

And I'm all WHAT?!?!?!?

See, I was going to go there, but flea did first. I love the name, pronounced either the Greek way or the American way, and am happy it's spelled with a K.

But mostly I'm happy for a healthy Babyfras!

My favorite Italian restaurant is a little place in Little Italy in Baltimore, but I lived at Olive Garden and Spaghetti Factory in the years between getting out of college and having a kitchen of my own.
