Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

No-cancer~ma to Burrell.

Video~ma, Jilli!

Aimee, that scar is so much less obtrusive than I was imagining. I'm glad you're in less pain too!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

If I haven't actually said so before, all health-vibes to Burrell.

And lessening-pain vibes to sj.

I'm sure Jilli will rock the video, because, well, when does Jilli not rock?

Aimee, lemme tell you a story. Shopping one day I noticed a beautiful celtic silver ring on a clerk's hand as she and a partner were arranging a display. "That's beautiful, do you mind my asking where you got it?"

"Silver Stream, downstairs," she said, busy but polite.

"Oh, what a disappointment."

She looked startled, and her partner looked at me quizzically. "Why?"

"It's so pretty, I expected a story with it, like, 'I had an Irish grandmother...'".

Her partner dimpled, and she graced me with a tight smile. "I don't tell lies."

I affected a scolded but unrepentant expression, "'S not lies, it's stories. Stories make things sound better."

"Well, it wouldn't be true." Finished with her work, she scurried off to do something else. Her partner lingered, adding final touches, and shot me an apologetic grin. "I like stories, too."

I nodded, and turned away to continue shopping. That day my hair was pinned up in a figure-eight chignon with this. She saw the hairpin. "Oh, that's gorgeous! Where did you get that?"

Beat. Grin. "I had an Irish grandmother..."

Tell stories. Make smiles. Make memories.

Personal question: What is reasonable number of op-ed words to produce in a 40 hour week?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I...honestly have no idea where it is.

This has been SUCH a week for fuckuppery, that it is only natural that this would happen. Still, at least I now have a bank card again. (The whole ATM-eating-my-bank-card-while-the-delivery-guy-with-my-plane-ticket-was-waiting-to-be-given-cash-and-I-still-had-a-mountain-of-reports-to-write side of Tuesday afternooon SUCKED. And that wasn't even the funniest part of my Tuesday.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good results ~ma for Burrell.

Aimee's neck = still pretty, like the rest of her.

Thanks, Bev. I'm feeling better after seeing my chiropractor today, and I'm hoping I can actually sleep tonight.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Beverly, you continuously charm my soul.

Fay, I really hope you find that. Under your sofa cushion or beneath a piece of clothing safely in your apartment.

Man, my day has been exhausting. Not in a bad way, but normalcy has just whipped my butt.

Thrive to spite them

Fay, I hope you find the notebook.

I found my mouth guard I was looking for all over. It was under the tube of toothpaste. I didn't notice it when I moved things around to clean, only when I was picking something off the floor and looked up and saw it.

And I'm asking for some travel~ma for SLNRLBF for tomorrow. I'm sure that everything will be fine but he's a little worried that something will happen and he'll miss his connection in Atlanta. Or there will be a big delay before the plane takes off.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Finding notebook~ma for Fay.
