Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Lots of posts. I skimmed!

Delighted with the most excellent breast news. Thrilled that the grading was successfully completed. Yay for second interviews!

Wishes that our collective ~ma could provide some relief to our Bitches in pain.

Gives Shir's hormones a Look. (Hey, it sometimes works on the kids)

Too quiet so I shall share my lightest and darkest moments of the day so far.

Does anyone else enjoy the Intel commercials running with Ajay Bhatt? I can't help but grin when they run. Very cute. [link] - for those that haven't seen the commercial.

And for shortsighted idea of the day - the Broward county sheriff wants to cut out the following programs to save money in the prison system, perhaps to get repeat customers. On the chopping block, substance abuse treatment, anger management help, computer skills and other skills training, etc. [link] They figure to save 2.2 million, the cost as they say, priceless.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

brillig

This moron mom [link] wants to take oxycontin off the market because her son allegedly got addicted to it and died. Don't blame the kid with the addictive issues, don't blame the doctors who weren't paying attention, and certainly don't blame the mom who sat and watched it happened! Blame the drug that helps millions!

Hubby lost Vioxx and the others in that class that really helped. This woman is not taking away one of the few other drugs that works. I have letters in the works.

Oh! Can I get them to get rid of a few of the video games that are responsible for my kids not doing their homework? That would be a whole lot easier than me actually parenting. Say goodbye to WoW everyone.

How much do they spend on cable tv? Why don't they cut that out? PBS Forevah!!! (although too much Lawrence Welk might drive me to homicide, admittedly)

huh, so if you are addicted to something, you can overdose on it? Wow. Well ya, then it totally should be banned. Sure. Can't be anybodies fault for not recognizing addict behavior. I mean, surely he didn't burn thru prescriptions at high rates or something, right? The one thing I didn't hear were figures to just how many deaths, she just said "lots" or something to that degree. What percentage of patients prescribed to patient death is there? Are the cause due to the drug or user error? I feel her pain, but please!

OK, avoided going to work enough. Off I goooooo.

Surgery often ends in death, we better stop doing that too.

She's in pain over losing her kid, but she's still a tool.

I hear there are buildings people get brought to that cause a high death rate too. Lets get all hospitals closed down!
