The King of Cups expects a picnic. But this is not his birthday!

Drusilla ,'Conversations with Dead People'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Damn right it can't. You're due for some good stuff.

“Not dead yet!”

(For the record, Frisco wanted Ellie's light saber - a much prized toy that he rarely has the seniority to play with.)

My iPhone has the Lightsaber app and I don't let Lewis play with it either. Thankfully, no shrieking has happened.

Cereal:

If this weather keeps up, the likelihood I'll be able to see Mentalist, Dancing with the Stars, and Glee will be lessened considerably.

Which will make me most unhappy.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

You know, I realize it's hard when you only have one word to indicate that you want something, but it's equally hard to figure out the wanted item when there is only the one word followed by lots of shrieking.

I've had coworkers like that.

Yay, Jilli! I'm so glad you had the biopsy, though.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Talked with vendor about Gala thing. It seems the crew talked with the guy back at the shop when the returned the gear, who talked with the owner monday morning, who talked with D, my contact, and everyone exagerated the situation. When D actually talked to T & J who worked the event, both were like "huh, no, it wasn't that bad, just not what we were told it would be. It's a job. It happens" and other words that sounded like one of Seans posts. All is good. No extra money is needed. Apparently the problem was when they were asked to move the empty cases up to another floor for storage, the elevator operator wasn't there. They started carrying some of the empty cases (mind you, wood, big, heavy, but still, empty!) up, and then discovered one of the other elevators does actually work, although not supposed to be used. So they used it. Crisis averted. He was apologetic. All is good. I guess if there was no drama, I wouldn't be working in theater, right?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

eep, another earthquake. This one was a lot less scary. Did anyone else notice that the cake Petunia made in Chamber of Secrets is quite similar to the cover of The Rolling Stones' "Let it Bleed"?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Jilli! That's quite a relief.

I took a long, much needed nap, and that has taken the edge off the pain. It still hurts, but I can move around without wincing.

We're having tortellini in a sage cream sauce for dinner. Yay, comfort food!
