Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Woohoo! Congratulations to Sparky and family!

“Not dead yet!”

Wooot, Sparky, DH, and Babyfras!

And I am so mightily intrigued to find out the marvelous name.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Welcome to the world, babyfras! Congrats, Sparky and Sparky's DH! So glad all of you came through this well!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

A baby! Woo. Congrats to Sparky and family.

I just had an awful shock. The admistrator for my course e-mailed to ask why I hadn't handed in my second essay yesterday. I have a two-week extension, but some idiot in the office seems to have lost both the form *and* their copy of the confirmation of the extension. AND then my course tutor forgot that I had talked to her, more than once, about the extension, and that she had written my new hand-in date in her diary. Nice. That general screw-up nearly cost me half a semester's grades. Can I have a vodka now, please?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That's not ADD, that's just dread. I feel it every paper set.

I hate grading.

I chuckled when I read this -- which makes me think Burrell was just cracking a joke. I doubt she was doubting the existance of Kristin's ADD. Not only is she a mom and a teacher, she's been around here long enough to know better.

I chuckled as well, but I know that when Kristin is in the midst of struggling with ADD she has a very hard time joking about it. Chalk it up to me be extra defensive of her on what what had already been a stressful day. Didn't mean to over react.

“Not dead yet!”

Ugh. I woke up feeling achy and congested and coughing some. I figured if I got up and got moving it would fade away, but NSM. I'm back in bed with green tea and ibuprofen.
