Thanks to Beverly, Typo Boy, Amy and Marcia for the good wishes for my recovery. The surgery was a bit more complicated than expected, and took 3 hours rather than an hour and a half, but he was able to create the fistula. At the moment the arm hurts pretty badly from the wrist, past the elbow, and halfway up to the shoulder, and I have almost no flexibility. I will be very very happy when this heals and I can use the arm again. But I wanted to let you know I saw your messages and I appreciate them very much.
