Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Omnis you should post that to Overheard Everywhere.

A guest just asked for a ticket to "The Day the Earth Stood Still and Drove Everyone Crazy".

Our wings are not tired.

Now I'm thinking I should have done something for the kiddos. Oops.

I'm pretty sure that you do. Every day.

Yeah, I guess. I just...well, all the other teachers gave gifts. This would have been helpful information to have. Well, actually, I don't think the other part-time teachers did, so I guess it's ok.

I'm at my parents and near tears. I'm beyond exhausted. It's at least 2 hours past when I've been going to bed lately. Mom and Dad aren't even home yet, and the room I'm sleeping in hasn't been gotten ready yet. Actually, there's a lot that's not ready, considering my brother and nephew arrive at around 11am tomorrow.

I. Need. Bed. Now.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I need to get Owen's teachers gifts. He has three, as well as a speech therapist and an occupational therapist. Are $10 Target gift cards too cheap and impersonal?

Cashmere, I think that's perfect. I got a $25 gift certificate from one of my families...from two kids. I think that's great, especially since there are so many of them.

Thanks, vw. We also have to buy for the daycare girls at the gym--and there are five or six of them. I like to spread the cheer on the holidays but it's being spread a little thinly this year.

Oh, yeah! Definitely! Honestly, I'm always surprised when the kiddos/parents remember me. Which sounds terrible, but I don't mean it that way. So, I think it's very sweet that you're doing something for all of those people.

Whew! I just tromped up and down the hill over the highway to visit a friend and bring cookies and lament relationships (he just got dumped today...for the third time by the same girl. He swears he won't take her back for a fourth time. I'm hoping) He made me dinner. It was good. I'm like "why can't he and I just like each other? We'd be so perfect together! We're already "secretly married" on facebook!"

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Bec and I broke up and got back together thirteen times before we got married. Not a comment on your friend's sitch, I should make that clear. Just jogged a memory.
