Dear Associate:
If you are going to send emails making it clear that you think I'm stupid for not having already done something, perhaps it would behoove you to actually read your incoming emails first, just on the off chance that I have already done that exact thing.
OKTHNXBYE
Me
PS You're an ass. Go away.
Weekend - tonight drinks, Sat. Brunch then bus to Catskills.
Vacation for a week woohoo!
My best loved Olympian will probably always be Greg Louganis.
Today, packing, laundry, printing, and examining the Dragon*Con pocket program.
Tomorrow, Empires concert, packing, and last-minute laundry.
Sunday, airport, rental car, and trying not to get lost on the way to my hotel.
It's gotten really dark here in the past few minutes. Now the wind's picked up--I think we're going to get rain. (It's even darker further north, towards the Wisconsin/Illinois line.)
Just checked the radar. It's a small cell right over us, heading rapidly northeast for the lake.
If you are going to send emails making it clear that you think I'm stupid for not having already done something, perhaps it would behoove you to actually read your incoming emails first, just on the off chance that I have already done that exact thing.
I dunno. Isn't the failure to do so actually kind of awesome, in that it places Associate's colossal asshood front and center, beyond even the most strenuous efforts at handwavey self-justifying denial?
ION, 2/3 of my office is gone today and I have been beavering away like a mad thing, with nobody to see or appreciate any of it (and I can almost guarantee that I'll get bitched out next week over some damn part of somebody else's job that I missed). I really want to come down with a case of raging (checks clock) 6-hour flu.
and trying not to get lost on the way to my hotel.
Call me if you do, but it's easy-peasy.

hahahahahaha. Sparky, Vortex, wanna chime in on this one?
Oh, the 6-hour flu sounds goooooooooooooooooood.
I kept refreshing for Olympics news. Now that
the men's 4 x 100 is over and done with, and the right and proper team has the gold,
I think I'm done.
You know, I'm totally
over-invested in how a country I've never been to is doing at these games. But my Aunt's from there! And ita! So there's a connection! Honest!
Call me if you do, but it's easy-peasy.
Oh, thank god. Because I have got plenty of other things to worry about during this trip.
I should make lunch.
