We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Hah, totally.

ION, that whole text message thing was a brilliant move on Obama's part. It's all the newscasters can talk about.

That is my parents neighborhood, I could pick up 2-3 unsecured networks from their house with just a built-in antenna. My neighborhood is more paranoid, all the networks are secured. Mine is secured and MAC filtered so I fit right in.

In my old neighborhood I lived in a big apartment complex, many of whom were college students, so I had my pick of 'linksys' and 'Belkin56.' My favorite one, which was secured, was named 'pimpsdomain.' Rock!

I'm a sucker who is totally excited about it! I've been making sure my phone is near my bed in case the text message is sent early in teh morning. Ha! I'm sure I won't care that much as soon as it's announced though. Unless it's Biden (Small state pride! He went to the same church as my grandparents and there are other family connections).

What are people doing this weekend?

Tonight Tropic Thunder and trying to clean some. Tomorrow brows did, clean some, and picking up boyfriend from the airport. Then he's meeting my parents and various other family members at my freaking 40th birthday party tomorrow night. Sunday is recovery and massages! Monday night he's taking me to what is one of the fanciest and best restaurants in B'more for birthday dinner. Nice! Unless...he's totallly scared away meeting my family!

If I were really good friends with my neighbors I sometimes think a couple more tuners in my DVR and a strong wireless transmitter and we could all use one cable connection.

Heh. "linksys" is always a good one to scan for if you're trying to find unsecured. Is Belkin also a manufacturer's name? I'm sure I've seen that one pop up before.

Birthday! Meeting the fam! FUN! and Anxiety inducing (but everything these days is inducing anxiety for me).

I had my brows done yesterday. I always love how they look after I have them done. Which means I should maintain them better. But, meh, I'm LAZY.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I've found a number of 'linksys' networks around town. Before I set up the wifi here, our neighbors had an unsecured network that I could use most of the time (though every time I did, their shared iTunes playlists would show up in my iTunes, so I often wondered if they could see my playlists in their iTunes (I don't think I had any shared playlists set up, but still....).

Once I set up our secured wifi network, it didn't matter.

The networks I don't ever trust are the ones I see from time to time labelled 'Free Public WiFi', as I know the places I see them don't actually have municipal free public wifi, and I've never actually had one labelled as such actually connect me to the Internet. I often suspect 'Free Public WiFi' networks of being other people phishing for information. And not doing a very good job of it.
