Burbank is not that tricky to navigate.
I want to go back to SF. I haven't been in a year.
I like that NBC keeps showing Alex Despatie's reaction. The CBC didn't show him at all.
NBC understands that what Americans really care about is pretty people.
I am still bitter about the gymnastics gala.
And I need to find my alternate computer recharger, since the one I was using has exposed wires that were sparking. Not really a good mix with my lifestyle.
I watched Stick It today. It is still stupid. I want more gymnastics.
Now you are all caught up on my life.
sue - it was Indian fusian and all sorts of yum.
No call of panic. in fact, no call at all. I got an email that the evening went well and that unless he brought it up, they were not going to mention calling me. I had told them that while it is good in some ways, talking to me every night might be making it harder for him. Also I think last night during the broohaha, I think I may have gotten through to him that it is only 2 days until I am with him again. YAYs all around!
ION - the place I last worked for specced out a project with Playboy magazine. it involved using their pictures and so I had to get a Playboy online account to get a sampling to use in what we presented to them. It was cancelled after a week, but like tonight, I occasionally get postcards in the mail from them wanting me to sign back up. ugh.
Woohoo on the progress of emotions for now.
I have an early meeting. Should to bed.
I should go to bed too, I need to straighten the house in the morning. grr.
Aww, thanks! I miss you guys! Weren't you going to come down to LA, Perkins? My best friend is going up to SF next weekend for a week, since her mom is going to have surgery. She offered to take me along, but sadly, I have no PTO, and can't really swing a ticket at the moment. But hopefully I can work something out soonish. That'd be nifty.
Emmett just finished 6th grade. He's 5 feet tall and 118 lbs.
Well, damn. There goes his career in women's gymnastics.
I want to go back to SF. I haven't been in a year.
Me, neither! Almost a year exactly. Sadly, I can't make it to SF this calendar year. Which is weird, because I've made it out there almost once a year since 2001. Which coincides with my first Buffista visit.
Watching men's beach volleyball, and I keep giggling because the Brazil players have "BRA" on their shirts. I am 12.
I realized today that I have 90 hours of vacation on the books and could afford the "time" to take a vacation. Leaving CJ for a week, though - doubtful and never mind the actual cost involved.
