F and M I get. What's the C and then I can play.
You can totally see the birth of Waiting for Guffman in that synchro sketch.
Oh, absolutely. I heart Christopher Guest with an almost unholy glee.

Have I mentioned here that I have a dead ringer for Adam Baldwin in my office?
Boy have you been holding out! And people can actually work with him around?
C is Chuck, Barb. Some people play Kiss, Kill, Marry. We play F*ck, Chuck, Marry.
Can I play?

absolutely!
I need to pull out Waiting for Guffman and watch it again. Maybe I'll just do a Christopher Guest marathon this weekend.
And I'm nodding like a bobblehead at Kathy's love for Studi.
Isn't he fantastic? And he's really good in delivery laconic yet funny lines, too.
And people can actually work with him around?
I couldn't. Luckily I only see him at staff meetings, and he makes for a lovely distraction.

Okay, I wasn't too far off-- I was thinking "cliff." Heh-- lemme go look at my choices again.
I really really wanted to love the Tony Hillerman series on PBS with Studi and Beach. But either the scripts or the direction was off. Each episode just felt like lead. It was painful to watch, despite my love for the actors. Including Sheila Tousey, who I first became acquainted with in Thunderheart.
Studi's been in some really awful movies (Deep Rising, a guilty pleasure, but NOT a good movie), but he always brings a gravity and a believability to his characters.
F: Adam Beach C: Adam Baldwin (Too mercurial) M: Adam Brody (I, too, like 'em nerdy)
The Matts are harder.
F: Matt Cedeno C: Matthew Fox M: Matt Damon
With the Erics, it's
F: Balfour (as long as he doesn't talk, God help us) C: Schweig M: Szmanda
I have an unholy devotion to Schweig. I have to watch Big Eden about three or four times a year because of him.
ETA: The voice. It's his voice. I could just drown in it. 'Course the eyes and the smile and the...yeah. Unholy.
