Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

“Not dead yet!”

( I think putting up with my school and not killing the principal deserves a reward, true?)

Be a real pity if someone tied him to a fence during one of these ragingly horrid storms we're having.

IJS...

Maybe after the rugrats are back in school, provided it doesn't float away, I'll toodle down to Dillard's and check out what they've got.

Also? Gronklies and needs moar coffee

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

OK, NBC is just too gross.

May not be work safe. [link]

Its a photo essay on the behind-the-back hand signals beach volley ball players use. Its called "Cracking The Code" ::eye roll:: Oh, and like the tv coverage even though the men use them too, all the photos are of the women.

Its almost like they just wanted to do a photo essay on really nice female asses, isn't it? I could hurl. I sent NBC sports an email asking when we'll get a dozen photos of the men doing likewise, or possibly of catchers' hand signals...

There was a shot of the gymnasts the other day that had the bustline of one of the ladies in blue who escort the girls from one spot to another.

I wondered if the cameraman was being cute, because the shot moved to the left real quickly, then drifted back over.

There was something on the CBC this morning about a controversy in Synchronized Swimming. I think it was the Spanish team that showed up with shoes that had blinking lights in them, for more sparkle in their routine. The shoes were disallowed as "illegal accessories."

I am going on the records as being against sparkle in sports.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, I enjoyed the sprinter who had the red glitter on the soles of his shoes. But then,I think almost everything could use mor sparkle.

So, not a rythmic gymnastics fan then, eh?

God no. I am also extremely irritated by the costumes regular gymnasts wear. They're athletes, not show ponies! You don't see the men coming out all bedazzled.

Some mascera, at the very least, would be a nice touch.
