Congratulations to the class of 1999. You all proved more or less adequate.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Please don't beat me with a stick!

Punishingly Intricate

I think it's a kind of un- or subconscious egotism (uh, I don't mean to slag on Strega's -- or anyone's friend). Really. They love their sport/TV show/whatever SO much that if they just tell you about it enough, you'll love it, too!

hah! that reminds me of a cartoon I just saw this morning

I know I've been guilty of this. Like trying to get my best friend to watch Buffy when she HATED SMG from when she was on that soap opera. Oh well! I still think she would have liked it if she gave it a chance.

ION, I got my Trixie dress and it mostly fit but seemed a little weird to me. Then I figured out I could wear my strapless bra under it and it looked MUCH better but wasn't quite right. THEN I took it to get altered today so that it will really fit! The first time I've done that. I'm so excited!

I love Basic Instructions! How to Wash a Cat is comedy GOLD.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So no one watching the sprinting?

I'm only really ever in it for that.

I can't believe I've done a load of laundry already. Gotta hang it to dry and then I can go to work. And some days I don't get out of bed until mid-afternoon. A little consistency would be nice.

Got my first nibble by an employer (as opposed to recruiter) and I'm quite terrified since they redescribed the job and I want it awful bad, but have no confidence. It's not anything I've done before exactly, but neither is this gig I'm wrapping up, I guess.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I like sprinting! It fulfills my desire to sit down, watch something happen, and see who won, all in a short period of time.

ita, I'm sending you all the job-fu in the world!

I've watched some of the sprinting because I've caught a fair amount of track in the past two days.

Kayaking ahoy today! Let's see if we can survive N being a pill about it?

Art Crawl!!!

I like the sprinting!

When are the relays?

I hear that there was a horrible accident in weightlifting that I am very glad I saw.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Me, too! Sprinting is awesome!

Re: sprinting we rock! Did you see how much Jamaica rocks? I hope it continues.

Okay--laundry hung, frumpy dress on, just about ready to conquer a new week.

I'm sending you all the job-fu in the world!

Thank you so much. This will take some sweet-talking on my side, but it's a goodgreat company, looks like good pay, and it's pretty local (not as local as the current one, but short of working at home that's not very possible).

Art Crawl!!!

Darn it. The NBC Olympics front page spoiled me for Gymnastics finals.

Annoying.
