Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Awesome, Jesse. I'm on it. I'll be right over to get them. In, what, a couple of days?

I'll be here!

I am a big dork over the Olympics. I was trying not to be, but then today I was watching badminton and I was really wrapped up in it, and I realized...

BUT Badminton? They hit the shuttlecock hard! it makes perfect sense to watch it!

Cookies sound good. Lemon bars sound good. Unfortunately dinner tonight is going to be white bean tuna salad. Less good. We have no eggs. SAD.

Today was swim lesson. Tomorrow, we're going kayaking. Tuesday is doctor day (and our new otoscope? So excellent). Wednesday we are going to try this restaurant which will either be excellent or insane making. Saturday we're leaving for ohio (meep!)

Trust my rage

I am a total Olympics dork. I would happily watch almost everything from start to finish. I have watched probably triple my normal amount of TV this week.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I watched the women's marathon last night. That was possibly the least close olympic competition ever.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

it makes perfect sense to watch it!

It was kinda awesome.

Yay, kayaking! That restaurant sounds both excellent and likely to be insanemaking.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

my week is kinda crazy, but good. tonight NOTHING!

Tomorrow night, spa for sugar scrub, then massage.
Tuesday night, dinner with friends at new cajun place.
Wednesday night, possibly a cocktailly fundraiser thing in my hood
Thursday night, meet with lawyer, then dinner with other friends - possibly Indian fusian
Friday night, birthday party for friend.

Hopefully swimming at least 2 mornings and a Target trip on Saturday morning.

Total Olympics dork here, too. I'm kinda bummed I'm stuck in tech right now, and unable to watch stuff. I watched badminton prelims earlier in the week, and was very amused that I was enjoying it.

Also, I love the kayaking. I used to go white water rafting, so it's a sport I've actually (sort of) participated in. I went on a ten person raft, and never a kayak, but I'd love to try kayaking some time.

“Not dead yet!”

Another Olympics dork, although I'm more of a winter girl, than summer. Doesn't stop me from dragging the laptop back to my room and watching every damned thing in the evenings.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

no olympics here. If I turned them on I would be enthralled, but there just seems to be other stuff to do. Like nailing in floor boards.
