Dissertation watch & post, right on! Go Nilly!

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I miss the Hamms too! Paul is super exciting to watch. Also, I saw them during one of those tour of champions things, and if they ever add in a category of synchronized tumbling, those two would kill it. They blew everyone away with their synch skills. I suppose the twin thing probably came in handy there.
Good luck, Nilly!
Does anybody have an idea if there's a way to copy-and-paste stuff from a pdf file, or do I have to write the table-of-contents and the abstract, which they want in a separate file, from scratch?
The abstract is no problem, of course, but the ToC is something that my latex template created, so copying it manually will take quite some time.
[Edit: OK, I think I found some option. Nebermind.]
Yay Nilly! Just a little bit more, and it's all behind you!
About the copy paste: usually, and I don't know if it has anything to do with me using Firefox, I can copy-paste from PDF (unless they're protected).
So I guess I can't help much. Humm.
Does anybody know a lot about those suits that the swimmers wear? What's the advantage of wearing the pants over the bodysuit? I get the sense that the bodysuit is probably uncomfortable (or all the male swimmers are huge exhibitionists. Possibly both.), but I'd imagine it's probably a bit more streamlined than the pants. So what's the advantage to the pants? Why do they sometimes choose one over the other?
Nilly, can you create the whole pdf, save it as something new, and then just delete the pages you don't need for the ToC file?
It doesn't have any option of deleting pages, there, and it won't help if I just type the relevant pages, because it's for the digital copy.
I re-created the abstract, and saved the contents as pictures on a Word, then pdf.
Now, to the Windows machine, to burn.
Yay!
Burned.
Burned, baby, burned.
Off to photocopy and bind and more bureaucracy.
Nilly, I'm so excited for you!
