(IIRC, it was from the first season),
Oh yeah, was -- um, what's his name? -- only Logan's partner for one season? Man, that ep was kuh-reepy.

Grievey, right?
Paul Sorvino?
Yes, Greevey. No, Dzundza.
It's this one [link] apparently the Thanksgiving ep for 1990. Happy family time!
Sorvino was Season 2 and some of Season 3. Grievey (cannot remember the actor's name, but he was the buddy of Kevin Costner's who was in a wheelchair in No Way Out) was Season 1. They finally brought in Lenny Briscoe (RIP, Jerry Orbach) in Season 3, after Sorvino did a few eps and then left.

Have you tried wordscraper? The trick is to create your own custom game that is exactly like the scrabble board, save it, and play all your games from it. If you play random games, you get crazy board with 3 quadruple word scores on consecutive tiles.
Oh, that's right--Lorraine Toussaint did several eps as Shambala Green, Michael Moriarty's nemesis in the courtroom for much of the early years. I loved her!
Also loved when Tovah Feldshuh would show up as the recurring defense attorney Danielle Melnick against Waterston.
Another favorite defense attorney on L&O, who unfortunately only did two eps back in the 1990s, was Elaine Stritch.

OMG, that's brilliant!
