Oh, that's right--Lorraine Toussaint did several eps as Shambala Green, Michael Moriarty's nemesis in the courtroom for much of the early years. I loved her!
Also loved when Tovah Feldshuh would show up as the recurring defense attorney Danielle Melnick against Waterston.
Another favorite defense attorney on L&O, who unfortunately only did two eps back in the 1990s, was Elaine Stritch.
The sequel to that ep was nowhere near as creepy as the first one.
Though, oddly, the stated verdict in the second episode was closer to the outcome in the Steinberg case than in the first episode. (Continuity error.)
NYC-istas stay safe! And not flying off to Oz!
Which pattern do you guys like better?

I should just get them both, since the shipping is 17.50 for one and $1.50 for each extra item. But I'm sure that UPS will add $25 brokerage and handling fee, as is their wont. Man, maybe neither dress is worth $40 in shipping fees.
And not flying off to Oz!
But Oz is so nice! I bet it's not even raining there!
OMG, that's brilliant!
This is where I admit I read it in the NY Times, and was too dumb to think of it myself.
I read it in the NY Times
And *that* is hysterical.
I like crazy custom Wordscraper boards where all the tiles are bonus! It's hilarious. Shout-out to Polgara for turning me on to that.

She's so great. I love when they have recurring defense attorneys.
I loved it when they brought back Paul Robinette as a defense attorney several years after he left the show. They even had him follow up a remark made by Moriarty's character in the early seasons, when he asked Robinette if he was a black lawyer or a lawyer who happened to be black. In his first defense attorney ep, he told McCoy that question and said that he decided that he was a black lawyer first and foremost.
