[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Which turn?
I live about 0.58 miles ENE of the far North-East hairpin turn. Or roughly 0.65 miles from the start/finish line.
You can wake up to the smell of fuel, smoked tires and the turbo screech of the engines?????? That is fantastic!
Clearly we have two different pleasure triggers. I'd offer to swap apartments during race week, however, this pit of mess is not fit to be hoisted upon others. Plus, race week always seems to have crazy work schedule around it.

It really is my beautiful cake, but not everyone's, I know.

Some of the condos there have a spectacular view of the track. But, yes, swapping would lead you to the PNW and that's probably not good when you are working. The commute would be hell.

And the broadcast just started! There is total Danica Mania going on even on this coverage. Excellent. I do love when the PR gods smile.

I'm not a race fan, per se, but ya, she's worth cheering for.

The status is NOT quo.

So I'm at Nordstrom and just got my first bra fitting. I think I know where some of the weight I've gained has gone. 34DD?? Really?

I am hesitant to buy more than one bra because they are pricey and I am planning to lose ten pounds. But damn!

Also, as I was taking a walk this morning, a hummingbird stopped to check me out.

Cool. I have been irrationally chuffed by the bluebirds, who have taken up residence in what was once, theoretically, a butterfly house. Butterflies don't really like butterfly houses, I understand, which is just as well because I view butterflies as potential caterpillars, which are to me what sp***rs are to Jilli. I put it up because a friend gave it to me and it was pretty. Then a squirrel tried to gnaw into it, making one of the slits into a hole. Last year, some kind of wren lived it, and this year I have bluebirds.

Now that you know what size you are, start looking for that bra on eBay. Also, figleaves.com and brastop.com have good selections and prices.

But that's fine because I'd spend most of my time in the garages and infield anyway. It's just *being* so close. Happy.

And she's there, actually. Well, likely not now. The race should have just ended in real life. So she's likely heading out to media stuff now.

If she gets people who are not race fans currently taking a look? This works for me.

watching Stargate SG-1.... I've grown to love the Nox. Also, I wonder about the gate closing. Sometimes it does it right after they step through, other times it's open for a long period of time. I also wonder if they have multiple gate props, or if most are CG'd.
