Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Since when is it a requirement that the Pope speak the local language? Not that this should stop you from hanging out with megan walker, of course.

(Also, thanks to the earworm du jour, I just gotta say it: u can be the President, I'd rather be the Pope. Yeah, u can be the side effect, I'd rather be the dope...)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

As I understand it, you COULD have a female cardinal.

(Cardinals are a political appointment and they don't HAVE to be priests even though they almost always are).

This could be bullshit of course.

Random other notes:

One of the people at the winery tour who works at my BIL's law firm had brought a date. He didn't look familiar, but I looked at his nametag and was like 'Hmmm", and he looked at me and said "you look familiar..." and I was like "...your brother's name is David, right?" I hadn't seen the kid since he was about 10, but I went to many many years of school with his older brother.

Also random, the people at my dinner table on Monday night decided I look (or sound? or something) like Pam from "The Office". Never having watched the Office, I was a little frightened that this was not complimentary. I just looked her up on IMDB--she's from Indiana!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I believe that Pam from the Office is supposed to be awesome, so that's good.

Meanwhile OMGWTF, America?

!!!!!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy Birthday, Drew!

Meanwhile OMGWTF, America?
Pretty nifty!

I mean, I wish we could figure that these might be interesting technologies to develop without it being All About War, but still amazing. Some of the new "smart" armors being developed are fascinating too.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Also random, the people at my dinner table on Monday night decided I look (or sound? or something) like Pam from "The Office".

This is very much of the good.

So I'm e-mailing a potential future wife tonight.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

So I'm e-mailing a potential future wife tonight.

Oh, as usual, dear. Good luck.
