Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

One of the things I've been getting a kick out of with my big fancy new car, is how much it reminds me of my first car, which was a VW Scirocco.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

"oh, your door handle randomly fell off too???!"

I still have both handles but neither of them open from the outside. Woe is me when I forget to leave my wing window open.

Because books.

Smart kid. Wonder who raised her.

YOU DID.

And believe me, I wouldn't buy another Taurus if I had another choice, especially with gas prices. It's good she's looking around!

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Ooh, needle and thread - good thought!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Years after my beloved Jetta died, I still miss driving Volkswagens, but I don't miss all those vw-owner conversations about "oh, your door handle randomly fell off too???!"

high-fives all the other volkswagen drivers

I miss the hell out of my old Rabbit, but yeah. And have you ever tried to fix a Volkswagen door??? Fine German (way too much) over-engineering right there.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I don't like K-Bug anymore. Anyone else want her?

Does she pay bills on time?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

SURE!

eta: Can we throw napkins at her after you LEAVE US?

She is calling me unkind names.

She might pay bills on time, no clue since her parents have covered all her bills for her so far...

eta: Of course!!!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

MM- One would think these people had never heard the word "extension." Or "Preparation" or "head out of ass-edness."

I am temporarily working for a real estate title company....a new level of hell. At least i'm staying busy, but the phone conversations....oh the agonizing phone interactions. The worst part is that i am usually the one initiating them. It's the worst costumer-service encounters because it is always with some bank underling who is almost as well trained as i am. And it is my second day on the job. I would transcribe them, but there was no funny, only sad and very very sad. I did a little dance this afternoon when i outwitted someone at chase manhattan and got what i wanted even through the cranky lady on the phone insisted it was impossible. Muhahahahah. I followed instruction! I has reading skilz!

ION, my childhood is popping up like a bad rash on facebook. All the people who shunned me in middle school....now sending fiend requests. One is teaching at our old elementary school. All are married and have multiple children.

Which leads me to....

why is it that the further out from the city center i get sent on temp assignments, the more likely everyone working there is to assume that i have children? Four people today asked about my kids. I showed them pictures of my cats. They laughed. It was ok. But odd. (Beaverton right now, for those keeping track on the map. Last assignment was Clackamas and there everyone also asked about my kids. Do i LOOK like a mommy? Seriously?)

Did i mentioned that i had a drink earlier?

Yesterday after work, whilst cleaning the cat box, i hit my head on a doorframe so hard it literally rattled my teeth and i still have a big ole painful lump on my head. Then i sprained my right wrist - which was extra annoying because all my wrist braces are for my left wrist where i have the chronic tendonitis. Wearing a left brace on the right wrist is not comfy at all. So today i bought a right brace. Now i have mismatched wrists at night!

ION, i just compared myself to jesus. To my eldest cat. As in "you're a jerk but i still love you no matter what. Just like Jesus would!" then paused to wonder if sacrilege is still a bad thing if one happens to be agnostic. Should i be worried?
