Fay, that's so funny.
I came home and went to bed around 5 a.m. Been awake for a half an hour and need to log onto our trivia teams' group chat and get the radio station streaming. We have until Midnight tonight to play. We're in 25th place (a pretty poor showing for this team, considering their past performance). Hopefully, we can pull ahead a bit this afternoon.
Wow, Cash, that's REALLY uncool, editing wiki pages to prevent others from winning. Sheesh.
Ah, Wikipedia. Such a beautiful idea. So fatally flawed.
Morning. We went out to the Smokehouse last night for our friends J's and C's birthdays. I had the best cheeseburger I have ever had in my life and two chocolate martinis. Nom nom nom. I was tipsy and should have posted, but instead I followed my usual pattern of coming home and passing out in bed almost instantly. It's really a pity I can't drink whenever I have insomnia.
I had weird dreams last night, too. Some woman tried to bury ND alive under a house, and I had to find and rescue him. Then we plotted a horrid revenge, because, true love and all.
That almost sounds like the plot to
Wicked,
Kristin.
Sean and other localistas, if ND isn't flying on Wednesday, we may be getting together for his birthday somewhere. We may also wait until next weekend. Anyway, details will follow.
You know you haven't had coffee yet when you get out the tweezers to pluck a stray chin hair and
then
discover it's actually a cat hair.
I just got back from brunch with Toddson, -t, and -t's husband. Much fun was had. Went to Asylum, which has several tofu scramble dishes and also egg dishes, so good for brunch groups that include egg-eaters and non-egg-eaters. Also, mimosas and bloody marys (made with vegan worcestershire!) and Irish coffee.
I got so mad at Click & Clack this morning when they were making fun of some guy for making sure all the bills in his wallet were facing the same way. What is wrong with this? I think everyone should do this. Granted, if all cashiers kept their drawers properly organized you would receive your change already faced but still. This is not OCD. It is proper cash handling. sheesh.
