Nascar has some seriously funny commercials. The rest are an interesting look at what advertisers think comprises their audience, but the ones with drivers and such in them tend to amuse me far more than even Superbowl ads.

I started reading that and lost the link. I should find that story again and finish reading it.

When we lived in Wyoming for a year (SMALL town Wyming, like 2,500 people), everyone who heard we had lived and worked in NYC was appalled. Did we have to carry guns on the subway? How many times had we been mugged? (Um, never.) Didn't we hate living where everyone was so rude?

This from people who routinely had gun-racks in their pickups, you understand.

I'm curious about what I'm going to get when I move to Denver. The only other time I lived outside of California it was in Washington state, so still on the coast. The main question I got was about living in "earthquake country" which confused me, cause there were earthquakes up there too.

Speaking of which: Vote MacGyver in 2008!

That got me thinking, isn't RDAnderson Canadian? So I went to his Wiki, and learned he's a Yank. But I read this:

Anderson is an advocate of gun control, a trait he has in common with his role on MacGyver, as his character mostly avoided using firearms during the series.

Um. How much gun toting did he do in SG-1? Curious. Now as I watch the series, I wanna see if he actually kills folks. Reminds me of how CHiPs never fired a gun in the entire run of the series.
