Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I contact them, and they tell me they don't have to pay, because they get reimbursement.

Maybe a dictionary should be part of the required reading for the course?

Also, I had stressful work dreams that woke me up last night. Yuck!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Or maybe they are confused about what reimbursement means?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am tired, but I don't think I have too much to do at work today, so that is good.

I am sure they are. Or they just don't read carefully enough, since there are two forms, one for tuition waivers and one for tuition reimbursements. Although I would be less annoyed if they thought they had the waiver.

Also, many other these people are medical doctors!

That's why they need a dictionary! So they'll know!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Maybe the people who confuse "reimburse" with "waiver" are the same people who confuse "borrow" and "lend", as in, "Can you borrow me some money?"

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, you know what drives me nuts? People who confuse "ancestors" with "descendants".

People who confuse "ancestors" with "descendants".

Or maybe those people are time-travelers....

I know this is not really surprising, but it bothered my snozing this morning - guy on NPR saying that the evangelical religious right really does not have a candidate to get out and vote FOR on the Republican side since Huckabee won't get the nom. So, their numbers for the election might be way down. BUT if Clinton gets the nom, they will be highly motivated to get out and vote AGAINST a candidate.

See, I don't get the confusing of opposites. Like, I might confuse descendants with decedent, because they sound alike...

I just had another call regarding the "reimbursement so I don't have to pay you" thing. She also did another caller peeve:

Her: I am calling about your class.

Me: Oh, which class would that be.

Her: The one your department is offering.

Me: We offer many classes. What is the class you are interested in about?

Her: It is the one you sent the email about.

Me: Grrrrrrr
