mac is being a pill. refusing to eat what I made for dinner and refusing choice two. screaming mad at me because I called him picky and made fun of him. he wouldn't eat a bite of food with a fork that had been in other food. SERIOUSLY!?! his reaction is so out of proportion to the situation, I think he must be tired, but he is in his room on isolation until he can say he is sorry. I may not get the apology tonight.

Em lost her tutu for a week this aftrnoon for not wanting to help Daddy clean up her toys in the living room.
one of mac's standard response to getting in trouble is hitting himself (ridiculously common for the kids from ETH) - he started in on that I gave one warning that if it did not stop, he would lose a visit with uncle, tv for a week and maybe swimming. I am upping punishment for that particularly because it is so awful.
Yikes. Any idea why it's so common in kids from ETH?

My brother tends to need to use earning-a-priv/thing because D can and will laugh in the face of negative consequence. And then carry a sulk forever. Hmmm, wonder where he got those traits from??
