Scrappy's friend got a nom for Lars and the Real Girl.
Yay! I really liked that film.
It's cracking me up that several of the songs from Enchanted were nominated. They're supposed to be parodies! And I'm a little sad that the song at the end of Juno wasn't nominated.

OMG. O.M.G. ::facepalm,headdesk,headdesk,headdesk::

Yay, "Falling Slowly" from Once was nominated. I love that movie.

Oh, I loved "Enchanted". Enough to throw some large paragraphs at it, even, I guess [Edit: if I ever manage to find my way to the movies thread. Hmm].
And part of the charm of the songs was, for me, that while they were parodies, they did actually work "for real" - they laughed at themselves while still being that selves, at the same time. Fun.
