"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

skips EVERYTHING

Go Team Lee!

Just venturing in here because I thought that other people outwith the fanfic thread might enjoy this little example of LotR fannish creativity. It's really sweet.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

That Rocks, Lee!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Thanks all! and yes, Beth. The new job is only about 2 miles from the old job.

Wow & Congrats, Lee!

I'm getting a haircut tomorrow and hoping and hoping that my car doesn't break before I get it back to the mechanic to figure out what the whine is.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I just had a brilliant idea. So I'm going to get my hair cut tomorrow. L (who gave birth last saturday) also has gone there and liked it, but not recently due to financial priorities. So...I'm thinking I buy her a gift cert. Enough to cover cut and color or cut & mani/pedi or cuts for her & her kids, whichever she prefers. She's on mat leave for a bit, and I can offer to babysit-or-mind if she wants him with her.

I LIKE.
