A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Now I really want a Say, Anything Musical....
It's a MILLION DOLLAR IDEA! (I feel like I'm quoting someone here...msbelle, maybe?)
I love that movie. Even though I was scared for Eric Foreman's life for two years, cause KS was his dad.

Hey kid's! Let's put on a show.
Who among us has a barn?
And some lights?
And a sound mixer?
Heeeeeyyyy, this really could work!

I have the reverse problem whenever I watch Dead Poets -- I expect KS to yell "Dumbass!" at someone.

I get that feeling during Star Trek VI.
"This President is not above the law. Dumbass!"
(God, I am *such* a fuckin' dork.)

Heh.

Hell, I got that feeling when he discovered Neil's body.
"Oh Neil! Oh my son! Oh you DUMBASS!"
See, my first (and very lasting exposure) to KS was ROBOCOP, so I tend to fear for anybody in his vicinity when he appears (DPS and QUICK CHANGE didn't change that). When he turned up on House as Dave Matthew's dad, it was so refreshing that his character turned out to be (a) non-homicidal, and (b) didn't call anybody "dumbass".
KS saying "DUMBASS!" = Great and High Art
