LA water is not tasty. I filter it all at home-for drinking (and ice) and cooking. I buy Smart Water by the boxful because I drink it when exercising. And beefing up on electrolytes is recommended to help against migraines. I mightily prefer Smart Water to Pedialyte or sports drinks.

What is your wish for the day? (Other than free good tasting water and a jackhammer ban, I mean)
Mine is that people would stop telling me I'm sending them something wrong or incomplete until they have actually looked at what I am sending them.
My wish for the day is that the construction dudes upstairs would stop dropping things DIRECTLY ABOVE MY HEAD. Or, you know, that my PMS rage would chill. Either. Both. I can haz mimosa now?
I'd like my head to stop hurting, but that will surprise no one.
We have a Brita Filter pitcher that we use for drinking and making ice cubes. I use tap water for cooking, and when I forget to buy a new filter cartridge, we drink tap water (Julia is the only one who complains of a taste change -- I think it's a mind over matter issue for her).
We bought refillable sports-style bottles for the kids, for their sports needs. They come with a cold stick that you keep in the freezer until you're going to use it. On a game or practice day, I fill up the water bottle, refrigerate it, then put the cold stick in (it screws into the inside of the cover and hangs down into the beverage) right before they leave, or I fill up the bottle with a combination of ice and water, if I forget to refrigerate the water ahead of time. I don't refrigerate my Brita pitcher, because I like water at room temperature. I drink more of it that way, too.
We still buy individual sized bottles of water here and there, but it's the exception, not the rule.

This is similar to the refillable bottles I'm talking about: [link]
It keeps the water pretty cold, provided you start with cold water and a well frozen freeze stick. I don't think I paid that much, and I'm not sure our bottles are that large.
ita, I wish for your head to stop hurting too.
ION--we bought this as our homebuying gift to ourselves. I am over the moon with excitement. [link]
Robin, that set is beautiful.
It really is.
I buy a small amount of bottled water for transit and work, but I usually refill the bottle from the water fountain when I'm at the office. When I'm at home, I'll drink from the tap.
What is your wish for the day?
For the painkillers to kick in, I think.
OMG. Annoying new across the hall guy is talking about his girlfriend again.
I want to add a wish of the day and make him go away.
