The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It really is.

I buy a small amount of bottled water for transit and work, but I usually refill the bottle from the water fountain when I'm at the office. When I'm at home, I'll drink from the tap.

What is your wish for the day?

For the painkillers to kick in, I think.

OMG. Annoying new across the hall guy is talking about his girlfriend again.

I want to add a wish of the day and make him go away.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Ok, so... does anyone know the origin of "OMGWTFBBQ"?

I thought that "OMGWTF [fill in the blank]" became much more commonly used circa S1 Lost, when Cleolinda, in her recap of one of the episodes, said "OMGWTF POLARBEAR?!?"

And I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that some smartass eventually tacked "BBQ" on the end of "OMGWTF," because, y'know, abbreviations yay!

I could be full of shit about the entire thing, though.

Art Crawl!!!

Robin's new dining room set is beautiful.

You're going to post pictures of it in your new dining room when it's all set up, right?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

great furniture!

My wish for the day is for Grace to be home before Labor Day without a tracheotomy or colostomy (I really just want the wholes to her insides to be ones that nature, not doctors, made). My other wish is for ita's head to stop hurting.

4. That's expensive. I mean, c'mon. I'm the cheapskate who carries an empty waterbottle through security and fills it up at the drinking fountain on the other side.

I totally do this, but I think I learned that trick from you. I buy a lot of water bottles, but it tends to be when I am out and thirsty and am water-free. It's what I buy in lieu of buying a soda.

Damn. Noah's out cold. I need to wake his butt up and feed him soon. Little stinker.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Robin, that's beautiful. It's going to look great in your new house!

hip deep in pie

Robin, I love that set. I've been looking for a china cabinet that sort of modern without looking tacky and 70's for a while. Unfortunately mid-century modern was not a big thing around here. Huge oak dining room sets from 1920s and earlier are really easy to get, however.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The jackhammers have started again. Why, god, why?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, let me sign up for the Grace@home plan.

I used to use Brita's sports bottles, but my electrolyte thing and need for more cold water than one will hold got in the way.

Damn. I have to wait till I'm off B'berry to see Robin's treat.
