Kathy, you're going to make me cry. Not that this is your fault, exactly, but it's making me think I should cancel this weekend, save a bunch of money, and go visit my sister on her actual birthday by taking the train...

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

What don't you like?

I hate the pseudo-anime drawing style. It's like he's trying to draw anime, but can't pull it off. Plus he has stupid-ass facial expressions.

shrift, is there a way for your sister to see how it makes sense, having you spend the time on being with her instead of being stuck in traffic, even if on a different schedule?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh and here is David Tennant introducing the Pussycat Dolls at Wembley.

::wibble::

I adore his real accent. And you don't get any better than a Scotsman saying "Pussy."

When I bought my copy of Vampire People the clerk at B&N was finishing up a frappachino and said, "I highly recommend the frappachinos." To which I replied, "I highly recommend this book!"

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Is that where we went to brunch?

Nope. But I don't remember where we went to brunch!

I'm sure she'll understand if I don't go this weekend, but it's a yearly beach weekend for her and I know she looks forward to it. Of course, if I visit her on her birthday instead, I'll be able to see the entire family, and it'll be about $150 cheaper.

Man, decisions! Why are they so difficult to make?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It took me a while to tell the Baron Wulfenwhatever from his son--in B&W it was nigh impossible from pics alone. Even later on, I found myself relying on costume to distinguish both male and female characters from others of their basic description.

I'm irritated that Cost Plus World Market no longer sells the shelving (interlocking Ls) that I meant to buy. Not with them, but with myself, since I meant to buy them over a year ago.

And I'm irritated with myself for forgetting to bring stamps with me to mail off all my shit.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

A while ago the paper had the article about cats being descended from a common ancestor with a headline about the only reason they hang around with us is because they (the cats) don't have opposable thumbs and can't use a can opener. Well, that may no longer be the case.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Hey--anyone have any travel mug recommendations? They're all pretty much the same, right?

Hey, ita, I had a run of coffee travel mug tragic incidents and finally got this OXO mug which never spills ever ever. [link]

Whoo! Thanks, Nora. I knew someone would be evangelical about...well, one of us usually is about anything, right?

Hmm. Just heard the "You've got mail!" AOL announcement pipe up a few cubes over. Could you be a little more obvious about goofing off at work?

Finally found out what the migraine doc wants to do to me. DHE Infusion. Still googling for more details, but while doing so came across a mention of at least one person that gets anxiety attacks from the anti-nauseants that last for days.

You have no idea how much less crazy that makes me feel. Because my sense of lack of proportion after most of my ER visits is massive. And I was trying to work out coping mechanisms based on it all being in my head. Thinky-head, not brain-chemical-head.

If it's chemical, it's so much easier to tell people to ignore me for 24-36 hours.

::back to googling, but all subtle-like::
