Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, tommy! That's just the one.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just got an alert that a Certain Government Agency is no longer allowing proposals to be submitted in Times New Roman. Seriously?? It's not even a serif issue, because Palatino and Georgia are still allowed, and those both have serifs, right? @@

Suzi!

How are you doing? I mean, other than the "Beep Me" stuff, which I'm sorry for not working.

The idea that there could be a serif issue, and then something even lamer than that is doing a bit of boggling to my mind.

Maybe they just want to check (TSG mentioned some band did this with their rider) that you read that far in the rules?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

paperdol, The Boy and I were in B&N yesterday, and I found your book, which was already turned so that the whole cover faced out (versus just the spine), and I squeed and gleebled and clapped my hands, and then I cornered a cute geeky-looking B&N employee and said, "If I'm allowed to make recommendations to you guys, READ THIS BOOK!" etc.

It turns out that she is somewhat involved in Trek fandom, so I didn't have to do much explaining to her, other than IT'S AWESOME READ IT AND PIMP IT TO ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS!

Nilly - I am in baseball heaven right now. Lots of fun stuff happening with the All-Star events in San Francsico. Mom is in better health right now, so while that was a missed opportunity, she is handling it well.

I'm working for an hour and fifteen minutes more today - then off to more baseball FanFest stuff.

Nilly!

I keep wondering if I'm famous yet.
