Which was weird for me.

This is understandable. And yet still cute of the xray guy.

Gracie looks so much more beautiful. Her eyes aren't all puffy today, so I could really see how delicate her features are.

Thank you! She looked better this morning than she has in a while and was actually awake and interested. Concurrently, Noah had a better day. I wonder if they have a Twin Superpower thing going on. Last night they put in a new IV in her head and gave her platelets and Noah had a fussy bad feeding night.

I'm pretty sure a friend of mine told me only one of the Junes was any good.

I read it and I remember really liking it. But couldn't remember a damn thing. One of the characters from that book recurs in The Whole World Over which I just finished and enjoyed.

This no grad school thing means I can read again which is thrilling.

I have been fighting orthostatic hypotension (the room disappearing when you stand up) ALL FUCKING ASSCAPPY DAY. I thought I was done with it (I have been trying to eat consistently) but everything just went woozy again.

Physiology is so irritating.

But at least I'm not climbing trees.

NICU's really ought to include cameras as part of the standard issue stuff.

Hell, they oughta be issued to each new baby.

WORD. Children's NICU doesn't even have digitals (where Huntington takes photos of the parent and puts it in the chart so new nurses never ask, "are you the mom?" they just can see). The charge nurse at Children's (one of the only nurses there we have liked) took a polaroid (!!) of me and K holding Grace. Polaroids are surprisingly more flattering due to the lower resolution.

Yikes, ita. Your sofa is still round, right? That is pleasing to me.

I hate when I eat late weekend lunch like I did today, because I'm only now ready for dinner, but I'm also almost ready for bed, so I guess I'll try to skip it.

Well, I'm about to go out, but with someone well-versed in seeking me medical help.

Also? Not going to faint. My body wouldn't dare be that irritating.

My TiVo, on the other hand apparently has no issue being irritating, because it won't talk to my PC.

They asked me who I was, and I told them I was an auntie. The nurse said, "antie?" And I said, "auntie."
