I'll cop to a certain amount of maintenance trimming, though it's for comfort and to reduce sweating rather than out of vanity regarding others' opinions of my appearance. By the time someone's seeing me out of my underwear, they've either already demonstrated a certain amount of eager intent or are a paid medical professional.
Plus, of course, it hurts, and it's totally ungirly to volunteer for pain to make yourself more attractive.
