Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Oh, the two London bombs yesterday failed to explode, and today's exploded but didn't get into the terminal and it wasn't a big explosion either. They arrested the two Glasgow guys today, so now they get to go after all their friends.

Worst terrorists ever. Thankfully.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oh, and I have a question for ita (or anyone else, really): How come there are two Jack Carters in the Eureka ads in my subway station?

Thank you. I keep walking by this and thinking I'm seeing it wrong. I guess they're playing up that it's quirky sci-fi, but if you don't watch the show it looks like he has a twin.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Actually, there are four, but only two of them seem to be existing in the same scene together.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, brenda!!!!!!

I went to HS in the early-mid 80's and we had some out kids. I was friends with 2 gay guys and 1 lesbian. But, while the school was fairly mid & upper class WASPs, it was also fairly liberal (in the Denver suburbs).

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

yay brenda!

sending out lots of job ma~~~

I knew about people being gay n6th grade. but no one was out. Around the time iI graduated there were a few pink triangle on soe classroom doors. One of the teachers had a son that was gay, and she found some teachers that were willing to be havens for kids that needed to talk about their sexuality. Eventually, this became controversial - I think more because of politics - and the possibility that a political statement was being made.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

ASAIK, we have no gay kids at school this year -- out, I mean -- but last year two of our graduating seniors were out. Seeing as we are a tiny urban school that serves alomost all minority students, this is fairly signifigant. I really have to fight a constant battle with using "gay" as a slur. From what I've seen, it seems like the immigrant Latino community is one of the more homophobic ones.
