So, what are people doing this weekend?
I have lunch tomorrow with two friends who are moving back to New York (not the city, Westchester County) next week. I'm very sad that they are leaving. Sniffle. Then I'm doing lunch and beach slounging with laga on Sunday.
It would be a great weekend except that ND just got back from Orlando last night and is working today and tomorrow and then flying back to Orlando to finish up that job on Sunday. Blechy. Good for him, though--he's making good money, and it looks like this job is going to open some great doors for his business.
Gnyarg. I've had to email someone 4 times to see if there was a response to a query, and so far, I haven't gotten an answer. Look, I know your schedule is crazy with travel. I know you've been plagued with colds. However, you are the one and only point person and you are really making us look bad, to someone who wants to give us something. Just answer already!
Funeral. But also getting to hang with K and the cherub, so that part's cool. I also wanna see if we can go swimming at night in Bo and Rita's monster above ground pool.
I would like to go to Sonic some day... When I was stuck staying overnight in Mississippi the other week, the hotel driver offered to take us to get food, since there was none available in the hotel that late, and everyone cracked up when I said I had never been to either Sonic or Chik-Fil-A, so I'd prefer one of them.

I'm going to clean a lot this weekend, and try to stop being so angry.
And, I'm going to get an outfit or two for book signings.
I just got word that the copies are in the warehouse, and they'll be shipping next Friday, so it'll be at Barnes and Noble a few days after that.

I just read (the elevator told me) that the age of the set-top cable box is coming to an end, since the FCC is mandating CableCards. Does anyone know the timeline?
