Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

I'm off on Wed and Thurs, but have to come back and work on Friday. I think that they'll be letting the few of us who'll be here out early that day, though.

What is even happening?

Happy belated Birthday, Hec!!!

Robin, I love your house, and it looks like you're on a really nice corner lot, too. Congratuations.

Look at NOAH. He's enormous. And he's developed such a lovely fat padding. What a beautiful boy. He looks wonderful. I'm so glad he's doing so well. Great pictures, lori. Thanks for posting them.

David, I hope you had a good birthday.

I've just been very busy with work, but I'm now on 2 weeks holidays so hoping to spend a little bit of time catching up.

Hi Sean, I have snatched a few minutes of natter reading every so often over the past twelve months or so, so if I remember rightly things are looking much rosier for you than they were a couple of years ago.

So, hivemind.... Anybody got any ideas on where to get good, climb rated rope in Los Angeles at 7:30 in the morning?

Guess what I saw in my parking lot this morning?

New a/c units.

It's June 29th.

Had I not had a shit fit, despite making complaints starting back in March, I would not have had working a/c yet.

It's been near 100 several days this week alone.

I can't say I'm surprised.

Yes indeed, other, newer issues aside. But we shall not speak of that here today. Yes, things are, on the whole, pretty good. And you?
