I don't core apples for apple pie, and have in fact made pie with unpeeled apples.
I feel I waste either time or apple with my cut-around-the-core method, but I've been assuming that coring isn't difficult, I just never had the tools. Is it?

I have a nifty device that cores the apple and divides it into 8 segments. very handy for pie. so, I peel the apples, press down with the gadget, and throw them in the pie.
I have one of those, too! But I don't make pie. I just eat the sliced apples.
I should make pie.

Ocean person here. I've never lived more that I few miles from Ocean connnected water, and frankly, even Vancouver wasn't oceany enough for me. Swimming in it, on the other hand, brrrrr.
