'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Love Noah, love the house, too!

This past weekend I was down at the Jersey Shore, so I had some actual beach-combing time, and staring-out-at-the-distant-ships time, too. Find it so calming, and eternal, and neat, even if I don't like going in because it's too damn cold!

(I really think if I bought a wet-suit for warmth I'd swim more....)

BFF called me up last night and asked if I'd possibly want to go see Ratatouille this afternoon, so whee! My faith in humanity restored, et cet.

Also, I forgot to say yay and congratulations to Robin and DH - the house is lovely.

Big ocean love. Is calming. Well, when not storming.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have a quick question-- How do I find out much a vehicle weighs? I am being given a car and that info is needed on the registration form!

Thanks

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yay on the new house, Robin!

And Noah is such a wee hungry little noodle--so cute!!

I am agog that there are Buffistas who had not heard of Emperor Norton before today.

Me, too. I was into reading all those trivia-filled "encyclopedias" that were popular in the late '70s (People's Almanac, the various Reader's Digest guides to American culture/history/etc.), so I first heard about Emperor Norton when I was still in junior high. Also, the guy who was the mega-conman in the first half of the 20th century (I think Tony Curtis played him in a film) who sold the Eiffel Tower multiple times, among other things.

I've got another half-day here, so I'm going to try and go for a noon swim again (at least, there's no potential of lightning storms on the radar at this point), and then taking the cat in to get her claws trimmed and then my second interview at Barnes & Noble.

I'm sure there's somewhere on the internet where you can find out that Sophia. Try here, maybe:

If not, call a dealer of those kind of cars.
