I am agog that there are Buffistas who had not heard of Emperor Norton before today.

He's like a saint to me, or something.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay for mac. Cutehead seeing new things.

I had a good dinner with good folks, one or both of which might help me find a new job (even though I am in NO WAY looking yet). So that's good. But I was out too late! Stupid downtown.

I'm old! Out past ten on a school night is too late! Especially with SYTYCD still to watch!

Eeee! I just finished watching, Jesse! The results show was fun.

Last night I admit I didn't leave until about 9:45, so...

I think the thunder is thwarting me.

Tell mac (if you'd like) that an almost 32-year old still gets freaked out by the ocean. I don't mind it, per se, I mind the horizon. It's too high. The lizard brain think it's below it and gonna drown. It's lovely, it's just wrong. I'm ok most of the time, then I start to get stomache cramps.

It's not riptides and such. It's the unfamiliar.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I love the ocean like you wouldn't believe. I have the exact opposite reaction to sara's.

It occurs to me that I haven't even thought to start planning thanksgiving this year. thoughts?

Yeah, I love the ocean more than anything. I like to walk out chest deep and look to the horizon.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

my secret hope is that he will prefer the swimming pool. I don't mind the ocean as long as I am in a house or hotel by a pool looking at it. It's the stuff in it and the sand that gets on everything and the salt that stay on you.

You can just not take him to the beach, you know. As long as you're in charge of transportation, you make the rules!
