Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think that's ridiculous, Allyson. Quiet rules should be from 10pm to 8am, if that.

The status is NOT quo.

What Jesse said. 10PM to 8AM is the norm. 8PM to 11AM is bullshit.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

hmm, maybe they got the hours mixed up? :)

In the meantime, if you're quiet you should be okay. I would ask them to send out the amended notice in writing, you wouldn't want them to use that as an excuse to evict anyone.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, they need to be consistent. And quiet shouldn't bother anyone--if people end up not being quiet, then take action.

My wallpaper right now is Christmas dinner 2006. Rice and gungo peas, fried dumplings, plaintain, chicken and ribs with a frosty mimosa and muscle relaxants on the side. It's blown up larger than life, and is just...man, I want Jamaican food right now and I'm not even hungry.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I wonder what that will mean for Sahadi's?

Well, Union Square has a TJ's, a Whole Foods, and the Farmer's market.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I made the mistake of scooting out during my break and going to a bookstore to browse through Anthony Bourdain's The Nasty Bits.

After reading his review of a $500 sushi meal in Manhattan that was worth every penny and more, my selection of free crackers feels inadequate.

I do love that he dedicated the book to Johnny, Joey and Dee Dee though.
