I fed off a flowerperson, and I spent the next six hours watchin' my hand move.

W0000T!! I'm getting a Trader Joes!

I wonder what that will mean for Sahadi's?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Well, Union Square has a TJ's, a Whole Foods, and the Farmer's market.

Welcome to civilized America, Tom....

(There would be a winky emoticon here if I used them.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I made the mistake of scooting out during my break and going to a bookstore to browse through Anthony Bourdain's The Nasty Bits.

After reading his review of a $500 sushi meal in Manhattan that was worth every penny and more, my selection of free crackers feels inadequate.

I do love that he dedicated the book to Johnny, Joey and Dee Dee though.

Not javachik

My new boss and her husband just got back from a restaurant that sounds just that one. He's a part-time caterer and they went to NY to eat at some famous, fabulous sushi place that was very, very, very expensive. They said it was great.

I have not been here in many, many, threads, but I just had my first ever muffalletta, and of course it made me smile to remember the Great Muffaletta discussion, so I'm here to share the smile. The review of it: Mang, that is one salty sandwich, and I'm salt's biggest fan. I don't think I will have one again.

50-post back scan: is it really Sparky1 and DH's anniversary? WOW! Happy Anniversary you two!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, we must now tell you *everything* to try...

Speaking of... ita, you were unthrilled with the pomegranate white tea, yes? I have some individually wrapped bad left and I am unable to throw them out. Next option? Mailing. So I am checking with you before I am mean to my mom (really, she might like them.) and inflicting them on her.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, so will that mean shorter lines at the Union Square one?? (Please please please)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's not a good political image right now, and the Coulter-Elizabeth fisticuffs did nothing to help him. Do you think the episode raised his stock among voters? That's my point.

Well, I sent him more money this morning. So yes.

Thanks for thinking of me, but you should send them to your mother, Cass. I am massively eh on them.
