It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

Oh, ita, I am so sorry. I think between you and me we have the hospital-going-opportunities covered for buffistas for the next decade.

Grace is out of surgery. There were no complications. Poor noodle.

WRT to HP6, I was shocked at how much I had forgotten. Sure I knew that Dumbledore was killed but I had forgotten that it was Snape who ultimately killed him. Good stuff.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Hooray for Grace! She and the moms both deserve some rest now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, good for Grace!

amych, I'm still at work. So no rest.

What I really need is for my understudy to take over.

That truly sucks, Kat. You need about 3 more of you, and even then, they all deserve a break.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

ita and Kat, I am so sorry about the continued hospital-age. May everyone get healthy ASAP.

Beej, you really didn't have to, but thank you so much! Mmmm, LUSH.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Glad to hear Grace is okay.

Sad to hear about ita's too-regular acquaintance with the ER.

We gotta fix your brain stuff.

Hey Game-ish people, I'm going to get Emmett a Nintendo DS. Is there any place I can buy games used or very discounted online? The Nintendo DS also takes Gameboy Advanced cartridges so I'm hoping (figuring) I can find some cheap fun for him there.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ita, I'm so sorry. What happened to the getting-admitted plan?

Phew for Grace!

I'm starting to feel bad that I've never been in the hospital, because someone's got to be keeping the doctors busy, and I'm sorry it's apparently all of you. I am, however, subsidising your insurance.

giraffe mode

David, we've had hit/miss luck with EB Games [link]

The upside to them is that they will buy and sell used games. Downside, they have crappy customer service and you usually have to paw thru the game bins.

The DS will play Gameboy games but only on one screen and they aren't as interactive (boy, did I learn my lesson after I teased the 15 y.o about blowing on her DS... little did I know she was training her Nintendog...earned me the stinkeye I tell you what!)

Thanks, Dawn! (I'm always happy to see you pop up.)
