I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

I hated 5 the first and second time. but 6? So exciting.

My feelings exactly. I've pre-ordered 7 and have already made arrangements to borrow a car to go to a release party at B&N.

For 6, it took me 23 hours, with a three hour nap. Wonder how long this one will be?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay for book-having!

Well, the con is over and we all survived. Actually, I think it went pretty well, though I'm waiting for the con reports to show up on lj. Am tired.(though some of that was having to get up at 5 so G could catch an early flight for a business trip. Yeah, I know, great timing.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

YAY BOOK!!!1!

Also, I went shopping at a local factory outlet, for Corelle and found myself buying three pairs of pants for $29, a matching jacket and skirt for $28, and shoes for $29. Clearly there's some sort of trend here. However, the plates and associated things cost me $45....

Dear Motivation,

Please, come home. Boss Man's breathing down our neck, and I get that you don't want to make these phone calls, but seriously? You like money, this gives us money, so suck it up and come back. It helps keep food and porn on the table.

Seriously? Seriously,
Me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ailleann, I think your motivation might be on vacation with mine. I know there's shit to do. I know it's important. And yet? Eh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Allyson, how marvellous!

Frank, go easy on yourself.

Just got back from the ER--marathon 12+ hour stint. I'm a little wrecked and a little stunned and more than a little drained. But the pain's down to a three or a four, and I'm going to stay in all evening (oh, krav, how I miss you!) and not risk bumping it any higher.

And I'm going to work from home some too.

Oh, ita, I am so sorry. I think between you and me we have the hospital-going-opportunities covered for buffistas for the next decade.

Grace is out of surgery. There were no complications. Poor noodle.

WRT to HP6, I was shocked at how much I had forgotten. Sure I knew that Dumbledore was killed but I had forgotten that it was Snape who ultimately killed him. Good stuff.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Hooray for Grace! She and the moms both deserve some rest now.
