Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

brillig

My brain really needs to stop conflating Roger Federer and Kevin Federline.

Oh, thank god, I'm not the only one.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, yeah, Allyson! you SHOULD be excited! I think I'd pee my pants.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Beej, insent to profile addy. I'm on Mac, but I'm not sure if I interpreted the instructions correctly.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Beej, what's the file type?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

That's a pretty snazzy outfit Federer is sporting.

So, I've just finished my Harry Potter series reread. I had forgotten that Book 6 was good! I hated 5 the first and second time. but 6? So exciting.

Grace is still in surgery and I am getting even more anxious.

The status is NOT quo.

Allyson, insent. And CONGRATS!

Kat, calming vibes to you and Grace. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Grace is still in surgery and I am getting even more anxious.

I don't see how you could not be. I hope things come out OK, and soon.

Compassionately intolerant

Buffistas are so beautiful, and kind and capable and responsy.

A thousand thanks Juliana. That is exactly what I needed. And the perfect size, so that when it's reduced, it looks great.

Many, many, many thanks! Be watching your inbox.

Ginger, I have a crappy pdf file that Juliana fixed and my two webpage 'templates' in html.

Sadly, the type of updating I'm used to with the html I created for my current website is not working the same with the new pages the designer provided. So, I'm feeling a bit screwed and impatient and such.

But having this business card logo jpg is going to go a long way to helping me at least get some things out the door. One of which I really needed to finish today.

Thanks again to the ever wonderful Toddson (who quipped about one of the Buffistas being sure to have the right equipment...in an non-porny way.) Well isn't that always the case?

And to Juliana for the gracious assist.

I hated 5 the first and second time. but 6? So exciting.

My feelings exactly. I've pre-ordered 7 and have already made arrangements to borrow a car to go to a release party at B&N.

For 6, it took me 23 hours, with a three hour nap. Wonder how long this one will be?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay for book-having!

Well, the con is over and we all survived. Actually, I think it went pretty well, though I'm waiting for the con reports to show up on lj. Am tired.(though some of that was having to get up at 5 so G could catch an early flight for a business trip. Yeah, I know, great timing.)
