You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

not your mom's socks.

Well we'll be at Cafe Hon around 7ish and you can get a copy then and read it and discuss right away! (uh...providing Your comic is the Buffy comic!)

It IS the Buffy comic. Of course! - but blarg. I missed it bc we're in all sorts of confusion and transitiony mess over here. I just skipped a zillion posts too. And now I'm jumping back off the internets for a bit. But news first:

    • On Monday, DHs mom had what they thought was a stroke, but she's ok, and no one knows what was wrong with her.
  • DH accepted job in PA.
  • My awesome sis and her fab DH have been here for 2 weeks, much of the past week filled up by her engineers' conference. She was giving a paper on 'Stress Wrinkling'. I think I have that.
  • and now we have to decide on place-of-residence. AmyLiz, we're looking in West Chester, Chestnut Hill, and Swarthmore/Media, I think, this time. There's a little area near Swarthmore that looks like one of the Arts and Crafts utopian colonies that I want to check out. Dang though, I don't want to leave where we live. I love it and all of its messy goodness.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

So, a tentative yay for you, Sox?

Thursday Harrison Ford edition of F/C/M:

Indiana Jones, Han Solo, Jack Ryan

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

And me. This could get ugly.

Or very, very pretty.

Now I'm trying to think of Johnny Depp characters for F,C,M and... damn, it could get brutal. There's almost no way to make the C anything but painful.

Oh, that was the mid-year career discussion. Which is all the stress of a review, but with no chance to get a bonus.

Thompson was the only chuckable Depp I could think of, frankly. Maybe that Libertine guy, I didn't see that one.

Constant review stress can't be good for you. I hope it goes better than you fear, certainly.
