Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It looks like you've got one close too many, ita.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I've got the same error at the bottom of every page (but with my name)

August 3, 2003, 2:59 pm Deena[545]: ERROR [2] mysql_close(): no MySQL-Link resource supplied line 81 of file /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/giles.php

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

So did I.

Thanks for all the fish.

I tried to post this -

Just had several 'page not found' messages and then when I got in this

August 3, 2003, 2:59 pm Elena[14]: ERROR [2] mysql_close(): no MySQL-Link resource supplied line 81 of file /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/giles.php

appeared at the bottom of Quotables, just before the posting box and when I came here this

August 3, 2003, 3:00 pm Elena[14]: ERROR [2] mysql_close(): no MySQL-Link resource supplied line 81 of file /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/giles.php

was right above the posting box.

And got 'page not found' and was unable to post.

Still getting this -

August 3, 2003, 3:09 pm Elena[14]: ERROR [2] mysql_close(): no MySQL-Link resource supplied line 81 of file /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/giles.php

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, that's gone.

Thanks.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

So did I, after I logged in. Also, it forgot who I was, which is why I had to log in in the first place.

and asterisks in whitefont.

The asterisks are normal. They're a work around to get the page layout to work properly in different browsers.

I got the same messages as Elena, except that I had this one on the list, as well:

August 3, 2003, 4:03 pm DXMachina[23]: ERROR [2] Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/giles.php:54) line 39 of file /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/user.php

Here's one other thought. Does the random quote function on each page create a separate MySQL connection to the database? Does it contribute to the problem? Because if so, it's certainly something we can live without for the time being.
