Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

So did I, after I logged in. Also, it forgot who I was, which is why I had to log in in the first place.

and asterisks in whitefont.

The asterisks are normal. They're a work around to get the page layout to work properly in different browsers.

I got the same messages as Elena, except that I had this one on the list, as well:

August 3, 2003, 4:03 pm DXMachina[23]: ERROR [2] Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/giles.php:54) line 39 of file /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/user.php

Here's one other thought. Does the random quote function on each page create a separate MySQL connection to the database? Does it contribute to the problem? Because if so, it's certainly something we can live without for the time being.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay. I'm going to upload some new changes, that have been somewhat tested. Hopefully there will be no mean messages, but bear with me.

This isn't slutting, this is further testing.

Pshaw.

I never got the messages again, for what it's worth. Even before your post about making more changes.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm getting an error on the links page:

August 3, 2003, 8:04 pm Jon B.[211]: ERROR [2] mysql_close(): no MySQL-Link resource supplied line 81 of file /home/bufforg/public_html/classes/giles.php

It shows up twice after every section header.

Whoops. Copied over one too few files.

Should be gone now.
