Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

I have also been getting intermittent server missing messages. This usually happens after reading a thread and going back to the message center.

Does this mean we can lynch Kristen?

Ha. So funny. No, really. I'm laughing here.

Anyway, I just walked back in the door from Miami. Monique has been investigating this in my absence. I will see where we stand and let you know.

Lynching is so last century. Can't we slander/libel her on the internet, instead?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oh, that's so tired. It's been done and done and re-done, including that time she became mist in order to steal the super seekrit codes.

Yeah. Once you've been accused of hacking into the WB servers, there's really nowhere else to go.

Kristen, did you go to CFTC?

(Sorry for the Natter.)

Yes, indeedy, I did.

I don't think I've been this tan in a decade.

Regarding the intermittent outages:

Our IT people can't find traces of the outages in their bandwidth logs. They did reboot the server once yesterday, but other than that, they don't see signs of the server being down.

They did suggest a course of action to help trace the outages; I'm forwarding the full text of their reply to my query to ita.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Monique, I noticed that the mail server for buffistas.org was getting a host not found error during the outages, too, and I've been getting the same error from the mail server intermittently for several days now. The other times it's happened I've usually been able to retry and get through.
