A polite stompy note, to avoid scaring her off.

Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
What everyone said. "Thanks, but you should post in..." Maybe add "nice tag", too.
Ughh. I'm having a brainfreeze on coming across as polite rather than snooty. Can someone else make the appropriate post?
Does there really need to be a post? I feel that given her e-mail address is concealed (because a gentle admin email would have been my first suggestion), we can just let it go.
If it turns out that other people think it's a good idea, then we can stomp community wide.
edit: BBaBB? How'd I get here?
I honestly don't think there needs to be a post.

Shoulda been in Bureaucracy. I wasn't quite awake yet.
If it turns out that other people think it's a good idea, then we can stomp community wide.
Okay, what I meant by this sentence, and completely failed to say, type, is that if the trend of misposting there catches on, we should nudge the community.
Otherwise I am in favour of no action.
Huh. I guess I'm still here.
How about a note, edited into the post (letting her own text stay), something like:
Hi and welcome. It's nice to have you here. For future reference, this thread is for (insert slug summary here). If you'd been here a while, we'd have deleted your post, but we didn't want to scare you off. In fact, we've had this big, long, goofy, circular conversation (if circles can be long) about how to let you know all this, without making you feel like you were being run out of town. Which you're not. Because that's what we do ('that's what we do' refers to us having goofy, circular conversations, not running you out of town - because we don't do that).
So again, hi and welcome. Take your shoes off. Make yourself at home. Acquaint yourself with our FAQ and come on in the pool. The water's fine.
...
And yeah, this belongs in bureau, but the rest of y'all are lost, so I'm responding here. Here's why I think we should say something. We should say something, because we delete regular posters' misposted-in-press-posts, all the time. People have just complained about regulars posting celeb death mentions in press. I don't get the double standard, and I do believe although we want to welcome newbies, we want to welcome them to our culture, a part of which, is respecting the Press thread purpose.
Not to continue the trend of talking about this here instead of B'cracy, but I agree with ita. If it was a regular poster, I would say delete it. If started to become a serious problem, I'd say delete it. But for the nice new person who just found us, I think we can just leave it alone.
I'm fine w/ ignoring it, too. It's not a huge deal.
